Juneau Nature - jkrumm
Reaching out... Spring in Juneau in the brownest time of the year, at least until mid to late May. In June all bets are off and everything grows like crazy. This log looked like a hand reaching out to the sky. The log itself fell into the sea somewhere, perhaps along the Taku River, and was carried here by the tide. These lands are springing up from the melting glaciers, some some longs will be in their final resitng places. May 5th, 2010.
